Three tombs open the book. Five Wildes close it

The official name is Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead. The studio day is 14 January 2016. This is not Fury of Anubis and it is not a later Wilde sequel. Fifteen cells. Ten yellow paths. The 5,000× waits until the expander has filled every cell with the explorer.

The spin

The bet is three knobs. The sheet is one line

Coin value, coins, and lines sit under the glass. The footer multiplies all three. Game Info does not.

2 × 5 × 10 = 100

The board we opened had coin value 2.00, five coins, ten lines. The stone plaque said BET 50. The black footer said Bet 100.00. The spin is the footer.

Lines are a switch

Plus and minus sit on the line box. You can drop under ten. The sheet still multiplies by the bet staked on each selected path. Scatters ignore that rule.

No buy on this client

BET MAX, PAYTABLE, AUTO PLAY, SPIN. That is the row. There is no bonus-buy key. The tombs have to land.

Book of Dead 5x3 board in a temple: Anubis and Horus on the glass, coin value 2.00, 5 coins, 10 lines, footer bet 100.00, Play’n GO mark
Temple columns, 5×3 glass, PRESS SPIN TO BEGIN. Balance 25,000. Total bet 100.00 on the read. Lows on this still are 10, J, A, K, not a 9.
Pays

Ten yellow paths, left to right

This is a line game. Middle, top, bottom, two V shapes, then five zigzags. Wins start on reel one and walk right. Only the highest win on a selected line is paid. Scatters pay anywhere.

The cards are 10, J, Q, K, A. There is no 9 on the sheet we opened. Ace and King share a row. Queen, Jack and Ten share the cheaper row. Horus and Anubis share a premium row. The golden Tutankhamun mask sits under Wilde. The tomb is wild and scatter. I will not paste a later Wilde sequel onto this glass.

The book

Three tombs, then one ordinary tile

The load book writes the trigger. The studio page writes when the expander is allowed to stand up.

3+ tombs → 10 spins

Anywhere on the glass. More than three still start at ten. The book opens. Before the first free spin, one ordinary symbol is drawn and locked for the whole bonus.

It stands after the line has paid

Regular wins are counted first. Then the special tile may cover all three positions on its reel, but only if extra prizes can still be awarded on active lines. Expanded tiles do not need to touch.

+10 if the tombs return

Three or more Tomb scatters during the bonus add ten more spins. The expander does not re-roll. A low draw stays a low draw.

Base extra

Colour doubles. Suit quadruples. The base stops there

After a paying spin in the base you can leave the win on the table or turn a card. Colour pays 2×. Suit pays 4×. A miss takes the win. That is the only extra on the base. There is no expanding wild before the tombs land. There is no progressive pot. Five thousand times the stake is a multiple, not a jackpot meter.

Game Info

The sheet prints line units. I will not pretend they are the spin

Gold line on the help screen: all wins multiplied by bet staked per line, except scatters. At ten lines, divide by ten for a total-stake multiple.

Book of Dead paytable as total-stake multiples at ten lines
Symbol 2 3 4 5
Rich Wilde 10× 100× 500×
Tutankhamun 0.5× 40× 200×
Anubis / Horus 0.5× 10× 75×
A / K n/a 0.5× 15×
Q / J / 10 n/a 0.5× 2.5× 10×

The client prints 5000 / 2000 / 750 / 150 / 100 for those five-oak rows. Those are line units. Ten lines of five Wildes is the 5,000× ceiling. One line of five Wildes is 500× the spin.

Book of Dead paytable: Rich Wilde 5000 for five, Tutankhamun 2000, Anubis and Horus 750, ten yellow payline maps, wins multiplied by bet per line
Premium page. Wilde 5,000 line units. Golden mask 2,000. The two gods 750. Same ten maps under every page.
Book of Dead low-pay sheet: Ace and King 150 for five, Queen Jack Ten 100 for five, ten payline diagrams
Card page. Ace and King 150 for five. Queen, Jack, Ten 100. No 9. Highest win only on each selected line.
Returns

Five returns. The studio page printed none of them

The certified ladder that review sheets print is 96.21%, 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25% and 84.18%. The product page we opened is silent on RTP. I will not invent a sixth rung. I will not treat a live “cold” widget as a lab figure. I will not average 96.21 and 94.25 because one catalogue box prefers the second.

Volatility is the other split. The bodies say high. One spec strip said medium. Another strip left the cell blank. Same title. I will not average high and medium into a new word.

Duel library

96.21% is the take this lobby keeps

The top rung, not 84.18%

Duel 96.21% 94.25% 91.25% 87.25% 84.18%

Those five settings exist. The temple and the explorer stay the same. The long-run pay does not. Duel Casino keeps the highest certified figure on every studio slot, the same house rule as Le Prechaun, Gates of Olympus 1000 and RIP City.

Slots on Duel still return 50% of the house edge as instant rakeback. This is a Play’n GO title, not a Duel Original.

Same desert, different math

Book of Dead vs Fury of Anubis

Both sit in the Duel lobby. One is ten lines from 2016. The other is a 6×5 scatter sheet from Pragmatic.

Close the book

I did not come here for a new grid. I came to read a ten-year-old 5×3 that still ships without a buy key, still multiplies the line rather than the spin, and still hides its 5,000× behind one random tile in a ten-spin book.

If the expander is a Ten, you have a line game with a gamble button. If it is Wilde, the glass can fill and the ceiling is in reach. Those are not the same product. The tombs do not tell you which one you bought.

Duel keeps 96.21%. The quieter rungs stay on other casinos. I will not write a sequel RTP onto this explorer, and I will not call 5,000 line units a 5,000× spin.

Questions

Before you spin the temple

5,000 times the total stake. That is ten lines of five Rich Wilde symbols after the expander has filled the glass. It is not a progressive jackpot.
96.21%, the first figure on the certified ladder. Other casinos also ship 94.25%, 91.25%, 87.25% and 84.18%. The studio product page does not print any of them.
No. Game Info multiplies by the bet staked per line. At ten lines, five Wildes on one path are 500× the spin. The 5,000× ceiling needs every path.
Three or more Tomb scatters anywhere award ten free spins. One ordinary symbol is then locked as the expander for the whole bonus. Three more tombs add ten spins. The expander does not change.
No. After a base win you can gamble colour for 2× or suit for 4×. That is optional. A miss takes the win.
