Two names, two jobs
Search "Duel Casino owner" and you get Ketola. Search the footer on the casino and you get Immortal Snail LLC, registration L22982, Arthur Evelyn Building, Suite 5, Main Street, Charlestown, Nevis, under Anjouan licence ALSI-202411026-FI1. I keep both on the page because the press uses "owner" for the person and the operator uses a company for the bets. Duel-5.com is a partner publication. We write. We do not hold the bankroll. Wikipedia (last revised 22 July 2026) gives the full name Ossi Eemeli Ketola and the town: Vammala, now part of Sastamala. PokerNews lists the nationality as Finnish and the alias as Monarch. None of the pages I used print a birthday, so I will not invent an age.
From a CS:GO item shop to a casino brand
Finnish Wikipedia says he was already in the games trade at fourteen. In 2016 he started CSGOEmpire, a site that takes Counter-Strike: Global Offensive items as the chip. The same entry says a small freelancer team built it and that the item market ran without fees. That last clause is Wikipedia's wording, not a fee table I audited. PokerNews adds that he began as a CS:GO player and then built the company. I do not have a pro roster, so I will not call him a contracted esports athlete.
ReadWrite's money paragraph is blunt and useful: the first pile came from skin gambling, then poker and streams, and a good amount now comes from Duel. It does not print a revenue line. Neither will I.
Wikipedia dates a casino named Duel to 2025. World Casino Directory, ReadWrite and Life of Poker all call Ketola the owner. PokerNews calls Duel one of "his gambling businesses." The legal entity is still not on those profiles. For the licence, the operator page and our review are the place to look, not a poker bio.
The live tournament ledger
Ketola's first large live fields, on Wikipedia, are 2024. PokerNews says he rarely sits those fields and is known as a heads-up cash regular. Both can be true. The Hendon Mob widget on the PokerNews profile read $5,035,923 in live tournament cashes on 16 August 2026. The body of that same page still says "over $4.7 million." Wikipedia, written against the end of 2024, says about $4.8 million. I will not freeze one figure as "career earnings." Cash games sit off Hendon Mob.

The $2.97 million second place is the largest live score in this set. PokerNews and Wikipedia agree on the prize. They disagree on the buy-in ($159,000 Super High Roller versus $150,000 NLH), so I leave the buy-in off the headline.
The 2025 cash games people actually remember
August 2025, first Onyx Super High Roller Series in Cyprus. PokerNews: he lost a $2 million-each heads-up to Kayhan Mokri on Onyx Live's YouTube, then sat Dan "Jungleman" Cates the next day. Cates took a reported $15 million. PokerNews called it the biggest televised poker game on record. Wikipedia called one Cates match the biggest streamed heads-up. I keep both adjectives because the sources do.
The Cyprus result table on PokerNews is in euros. The $15 million line is in dollars. I will not convert one into the other.
September 2025, Triton in Jeju. Three tournament entries, one cash, then a week of cash against Wiktor Malinowski, Alex Foxen, Elias Talvitie, Kayhan Mokri and Bjorn Li. PokerNews describes a $16 million heads-up with Li and a $12,700,000 pot, the largest televised hand in that write-up. Ketola won that match. Life of Poker and World Casino Directory repeat the $12.7 million figure. ReadWrite calls it a prize. It is a pot. I will not write that he "won $12.7 million" as if the pot were a paycheck.
PokerNews says the Jeju trip losses were trimmed to about $2 million after the last match. I treat that as their scorekeeping, not a bank statement. Wikipedia puts the 2025 high-stakes streams on Kick. The ban-week shows sit on Twitch in two reports and on Kick in ReadWrite. Name the platform you are quoting. Do not invent "his stream."
The conduct file
This is the half most casino write-ups skip, and the half anyone who types the name will find. PokerNews, World Casino Directory and Life of Poker all record repeated racist language on social posts and live streams. PokerNews says he has defended it as freedom of speech. Wikipedia adds a June 2025 allegation that CSGOEmpire posted a racist comment at a community member. Allegation, not a verdict.
March 2024, PGL Major Copenhagen: protesters rushed the stage and damaged the trophy. Wikipedia says reports tied the protest to CSGORoll and said CSGOEmpire was behind it. That is not the same sentence as "Ketola ran onto the stage." I will not write the second sentence from these pages.
December 2024: Coffeezilla said CSGOEmpire offered him $20,000 to damage CSGORoll's name. He refused and published an exposé. That is his claim as Wikipedia reports it.
October 2025: the X accounts go dark
PokerNews dates the suspensions to October 2025. Life of Poker published on 25 October and says he spoke on Wednesday. Personal account plus the Duel and CSGOEmpire business accounts. Life of Poker and World Casino Directory saw @Monarch and @Duel with the standard "violate the X Rules" line. ReadWrite writes @duel. X did not name a specific charge.
He announced it on Discord (World Casino Directory and ReadWrite) and on Twitch (World Casino Directory and Life of Poker). ReadWrite also describes a Kick stream with a Notepad. Life of Poker says he will keep operating Duel, fight the bans, and keep streaming while he appeals.
We are under attack. My Twitter account along with Empire's and Duel's have been banned on Twitter. This came right after we released 100% RTP games on Duel, undercutting the entire gambling industry. We are a threat to their profits. Make no mistake, we are at war.

Kick stream, as printed by ReadWrite. The same piece shows a Notepad line using "///They///". ReadWrite reads that form as antisemitic symbolism. That is their gloss on a screenshot, not a court label I will promote as fact.
He tied the timing to 100% RTP Originals on Duel. The house pitch is zero edge. The one Original we have measured, Plinko, returns 98.9% to 99.5%. I will not launder a marketing line into a lab result. Provably fair seeds still verify either way. Rakeback still lands on the ticket. The proprietor does not change the paytable.
How I weigh it
A Mines grid at 0.1% does not care who owns the URL. A sports cash-out does not either. Ownership shows up where maths cannot help you: whether a large withdrawal sits, whether a KYC request arrives after a sports win, whether anyone answers when Anjouan is the only desk above the operator. That is why the review's owner section scores the product high and the governance low.
